RealBeautie Collections is an online beauty and homeware store based in Gaborone, Botswana, trading at realbeautiecollections.co.bw. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We do not see or store your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by DPO Pay, our payment provider, on their own secure systems. When you pay by card you are passed to DPO Pay to enter your details and returned to us afterwards with only a confirmation of whether the payment succeeded.
If you pay by direct bank transfer, we see only the payment reference and the name on the transfer as it appears on our bank statement. If you pay cash on delivery, no payment details are collected on this site at all.
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the site you arrived from. We use this to keep the site secure and working properly, and to understand which products and pages people are interested in.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to remember what is in your shopping bag, keep you signed in while you browse, remember your wishlist and comparison selections, and remember a discount code you have applied. If you block cookies in your browser, the shopping bag and checkout will not work correctly.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the businesses that help us run the store, and only with what they need:

We keep order records for as long as we need them to handle returns, warranty questions and our tax and accounting obligations. Account details are kept until you ask us to close your account. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept while the query is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete information we no longer need to keep. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter, and doing so will not affect emails about orders you have placed. If you have an account you can update your details and addresses yourself under My Account.
Our site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to order records is limited to the people who need it, and card details never reach our systems. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
This store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will remove them.
